backup and restore
August 4th, 2016
i have windows 7 home edition 32 bit and im newbie , how do you back up and restore to 2nd h/drive including operating system? thank you
did you partition your harddrive? it means you split your hard drive in 2 and have the split part for the backups, usually when you buy a pc they will do it for you and it will say Recovery.
You can try “Acronis True Image”..
You can create a backup image and restore it with this software..
Mind you..You can’t store the backup image to the same partition you are backing up..
I highly recommend Macrium Reflect. http://www.macrium.com/
It does cold & hot imaging as well as file and folder backups. It also can restore to dissimilar hardware. I been using the paid version since 2011 with unlimited updates, and I never had problems restoring a backup with it, not once. They have a free version with limitations. There is also a cracked versions out there that’s supposed to include all the premium features:
