Need software to remove metadata from image files

January 26th, 2020

Hello,
I would be thankful if someone suggests a good metadata removal software (that we have links to on our forum) for treating image files.
Thanks

I am sure there are many, I actually use Zoner Photo Studio
I like the way when I look at the images it has a little flag that comes up and lets me know the meta data is there in the images and what type.
If I have a stubborn meta data that I can’t remove for some reason, I just use Snagit and take a image of the image and then save that.
I am sure someone else will have their ways of handling them.

BatchPurifier LITE™ is a free edition of BatchPurifier™ that can remove metadata from JPEG picture files in batch. PS: I haven’t used the software.

JPEG & PNG Stripper
A tool for stripping/cleaning/removing uncessary metadata (junk) from JPG/JPEG/JFIF & PNG files. The image quality IS NOT AFFECTED. Includes command line support. Just specify a folder or file on the commandline (wildcards allowed)

free, small and standalone app that you can drag multiple images into and it strips medadata & shrinks the size without even opening it
I keep it in the upper corner of my desktop (always visible) and drag every image I upload to it just before uploading
