Hello. Recently, I got a new router. It was installed by this person from the company, and everything seems quite normal. Except that, whenever I try to play a game (Any game with online multiplayer), it doesn’t work. I could not join any servers at all from any games (minecraft, call of duty 4, battlefield 3), and the router disconnects me once in a while (which is very annoying when I am downloading stuff). Please help me in this, I don’t know much about this stuff. Just to tell you that everything worked perfect with my old router, and that my computer is connected to the router wirelessly.

I do not have much knowledge about this stuff, and I don’t wanna waste more money getting this fixed.

have you port forwarded, the necessary ports?
if you google ‘port forwarding’ and the name of your router, you should be able to get instructions about it
I can’t walk you through it, because it’s different for every router/ manufacturer
