Need help with game in compatibility mode!

August 5th, 2016

hi all. i have this game called theme hospital. it was oringinally made for windows98. on my laptop i have windows 7 64x. wen i run the game in compatability mode for win98 the game lags. ie; the mouse is really jerky as is the video. however, wen i play the game in compatability mode for win2000, there is no lag but the game freezes. i tried this on win xp and the game works perfect wen in compatabilty mode for win98. is there anyway to stop the lag wen playin it on win7 in win98 compatability mode?
thanks for the help
p.s. i have updated my graphics card driver as well…do i need to change any settings there to stop the lag?

the game freezes? But what to do… what to do… seams youve been through all the campatibility modes. . . im guessing your drivers are up to date- – – So no not much to do i think. . . there is that virtual xp thing..
http://www.windows7guide.dk/tips-a-tricks/41-tips-a-tricks/241-windows-7-virtual-windows-xp-mode but i myself havent used it. What kinda settings do u have to play with in the game? know its old and there might be none. . . but if theres was, you could try messing with them in each compatibility modes and see what works.
Btw did you try compatibility mode xp service pack 3? whenever i have issues with games i use that.
