need help putting WMP10 on my computer

I have tried to put WMP10 on my PC but i keep getting the following error message:

any way around this? the same error occurs when i tried it with XP essentials
(need do this because my Zen Vision:M is playing up and i think i need to re-install it as it has all the drivers or something for MTP)
but if you can actually help me with my vision:M problem if its unrelated to mp10 that would be great.. i keep getting the following error when trying to transfer files:
