Need help. IDM is screwing with my firefox.

whenever I add links to the DL queue, the firefox window from which I got those links becomes inactive. i can’t click anything in firefox, navigate back and forth. its like the firefox window becomes linked with IDM, because when i click the firefox window on my toolbar, the idm window pops up. does anyone know how to fix this

Try re installing IDM. That is the only solution I can think of. Are you using Firefox 3?

how long u use the IDM??
IDM needs some time to clarify the links that u added… the firefox will freeze for some time depends on the speed u connect to the server…
but if u using IDM for downloading as free user at rapidshare the firefox will remain freeze for a long time that because free rapidshare user can’t use download manager…

i’ve tried re installing, still does it. am using firefox 3.0. , firefox will be ‘frozen’ for as long as i have IDM open. if i exit idm, it’s back to normal instantly.

worst comes to worst you just will either have to use a different browser or use a different download manager

i think there is an error with your IDM CC addon idm places in firefox. just reinstall the addon through firefox addon site

This is problem with me too. So I just disintegrated the IDM and then uninstalled it. And I will never install it again. The firefox is pretty good in downloading.
