Need guide to install kodi+addons to watch tv channels

Hi,
I purchased the nvidia shield tv recently. I was told kodi could be installed to watch tv channels like hbo. For tv shows and movies I use the app cartoon hd. Can anyone guide me with installing and configuring kodi? Never done this before and it’s my first android tv box.

There is nothing to it..
Go to the site and download and install Kodi..
You don’t need too many Addons..
Just google the the addon you want..You either find a download or a tutorial how to install it..
Here is some of my favorite addons:
– Istream
– NENESIS
– NAVIx
– SALTS
– ReleaseBB

Nope..Up to you but I don’t like those builds that install a lot of junk..
I like to test and be selective about my Addons..

If anyone is wondering how to get rid of XXX Here’s the answer your looking for this is good if you also have kids 0.4 DUGGZ BUILD ALLROUNDER
System – skin settings – set up aeon nox home screen. Scroll down to adult then top right corner disable this should work to disable any other widgets ya dont want on the main screen

I have pegasus, exodus, and KdoiUKTV – and all seems well.
I can play most films and channels – sky eludes me, syfy works well, I;d like to find a thingy for CH BT 507 sci-fi/horror..

best bet for finding out about kodi stuff is search for groups related to it on facebook usually find loads of help on there with updates on addons builds and so on

If you do a google search “kodi best addons” the first few links are “10 best addons for KODI” and they have the details of how to and the link to do so..
And they include Exodus and Pegasus.

I tried pegasus, the live tv can’t be played. Movies work fine though, trying the duggz one now. My main requirement is live tv channels.
