those 6720s laptops aren’t powerfull at all, slow cpu, even worse graphics, don’t think about playing games, it doesn’t even have a dedicated graphics card. Nothing you can do about it except putting in some more ram
It’s slow because it’s a very weak machine.
That computer is destined for Office work and nothing more. If you are using Vista and you are feeling that the machine is too slow, consider upgrading it’s memory.
Besides that there’s little much that you can do.
You can attempt to trim down the services , unrequired background processes , or “downgrade” ur os , or as suggested boost your onboard memory.
Thx, i dont use it to play games i just use it for adobe programs i tested it on games, because i use adobe flash , indesign photoshop and much more programs i do much with pictures that is why i need good graphic
You shouldn’t be using vista ultimate on such a low end machine, you’d probably be better off with vista basic or a copy of XP on there.
Plus don’t even think about gaming with an intel GMA gpu, you’ll get nowhere
if you using vista it takes up lots of ram! why not downgrade to xp?
You either :
1.Upgrade your RAM memory
2.Install Windows XP or Windows 7
Or both would be good
In general, VISTA IS TRASH. So just remove it to keep your machine healthy.
While you are running win vista ultimate you need the 2 GB Ram.
the ram is the main killer, to run vista you need 1gb of ram which you got, so its slow since you only got 1gb, i would get install xp if you are tight on cash and cant get more ram, (xp only needes 128mbs of ram compared to vista which needs 1gb).
I don’t know why they put vista ultimate on that system. Your hardware isn’t fast/big enough to handle it. As others have said, install XP and/or get more RAM.
