My friend brought an old note from ebay

August 6th, 2016

My friend brought an old note from ebay.in .After winning the auction he called the seller and he said that the note is original. So my friend paid him using paisapay. After the payment he shipped the note and the note was delivered yesterday.
So after opening the package and inspecting the note he found that the note is a fake note/replica.I also checked the note and found it a fake note(the watermark wasn’t present, the paper quality is bad).He paid the seller Rs.60000 for the note.
So he created a dispute at ebay.in saying the item was not as described. Now the seller saying that how it can be fake as he have the note for 17yrs.The seller responded that “We have sent the note as per the scanned copy of my Bidding details. I am not accepting your comments. What is the guarantee that you are going to send our note only..”.
We can prove that the note is fake.
Should we still communicate with the seller, or use “eBay Standard Purchase Protection Program”?
Suppose ebay tell us to return the note to the seller and after returning if he claims that the box was empty or we have sent him other note, then what we can do?
Is there any chance of getting the money back?
Note: Both of our(buyer and seller) ebay feedback is zero.
