multi operating system problem

My friend has two operating system installed windows 7 & XP2 sevice pack2,both are 32 bit.when he selecting anyone of 2 he gets a blank screen & then after pressing ctrl+alt+del,pc restarts.what to do now?
If anyone has anyone type of solution please reply me

Give this a try. Put in a windows 7 install disk, reboot from disk, click language, click repair start up. It usually fixes any start up problems.

sure hope you’ve put the systems on different partitions, otherwise you gonna have 2 ****** systems

agree use different partitions. remember to install xp first then widows 7 the reason is because the boot loader or XP is older and wont recognize 7.

I used Windows 98 and Windows XP both (in the past). First, I installed win98 then Windows XP.
So I recommend you to install WIN XP then WINDOWS 7 or VISTA.

This didnt work.
Removed Win 7 & XP SP2 both then I installed XP SP2 & Now I will install Windows 7 Ultimate on a different partition.
But now a new problem occured, ABP is not working in Firefox. Can anyone tell me what to do?
I am replying here coz I am the friend OP was talking about.

Use a live disc of any operating system and backup all your data to an external source. Next, do a clean re-install of whatever OS you want
