Mortal Kombat 9 wont work on my Jailbroken PS3

I have the slim with CFW 3.55
But when I transfer it and even install the patch it won’t work. I tried both GAMEZ and Game folder and still nothing.
It gives Black screen and won’t even start and is stuck there. I use multi man and everything.
the other downloaded game works fine.
Someone told me I have to have a Original Blu Ray disk game in the Drive for it to work?
If so it can be any disk? anyway I make it work without a original disk?

have you try’d holding select and pressing (X)
in multiman ??
and yes some games need a ps3 game in the drive to boot
aboot about 25% / 35 % of game boot without a game in the drive but best just to leave a game in ther at all times

what about the EBOOT fix, i know MK does work i used to play it alot.
