Microsoft word help needed

I am trying to copy and past 3 appendices from one document to another but when I paste them into the second document they keep appearing in a different format and I can’t get the text under the photographs to appear the same way as it does in the original document. I have tried every type of paste option that word is giving me but nothing is working so please can someone help me.
