media disconnected

wen i type ipconfig inn cmd , it shows media disconected even though im able to access net and download things
many website are working very slow. evn wheareas google and few others are working just fine
my torrent speed is also as gud as its supposed to be
ive tried many things like reseting the config, clear the cache etc bt unable to figure the way out!
Plz Help!
