Mac OS X 10.5.7 vmware

August 6th, 2016

Hey there! I’ve got a slight problem. I’ve recently begun looking into developing for iPhone/iTouch and looking at the Apple Developer website, it says:
Compatibility
Xcode 3.1.4, when used for Mac-only development, is compatible with Intel and
PowerPC Macs running Mac OS X Leopard 10.5 and later. Use of the iPhone SDK
requires an Intel-based Mac running Mac OS X Leopard version 10.5.7 or later.

I don’t have a Mac (and I don’t plan on buying one), and so I’ve got VMWare Workstation 7 and I’ve been trying to find a torrent (HTTP is really slow for me) that will:
1) Install on VMWare 7
2) Allow Xcode 3.1.4 and iPhone SDK 3.1 to be installed
Does anyone know where I could find such a torrent?

Answer #1
I don’t think you can Unless it’s for pc
Answer #2
I’ve seen other people program/develop applications on VMWare, so I know it’s possible. The only issue is getting an ISO that works.
Answer #3
I’ve tried a random ISO and it worked. The only issue I had was with a setting in VMWare that was easily changed in the CPU section.
Check Osx86 Wiki for more info though.
Answer #4
If you look in the Mac/Other OS section there are a few vmware images pre made that you could use. I have 10.6.2 with XCode installed running in VMWare
