Limerain and unlocking (3gs)

hi
someone i know has a iphone 3GS and has supposedly unlocked it using limera1n. But now it just says “searching….” all the time
did he do it wrong? or is there a better way

There is no UNLOCK called limera1n, only JB!!!!!!!

i know limera1n is the jailbreak SW
thats all the details i have frm him + firmware is 4.1

Obviously he have latest BB and that BB can;t be unlocked atm. He need to wait for 4.2 iOS release and after that Dev-Team will update ultrasn0w to work with that BB and BB from iOS 4.2
