Lexmark Z2390 problems

okay the problem i am having is my lexmark Z2390 will not install, i follow through the installing screens and when it reaches the part where it says “plug in the printer” is where it all goes wrong. Basically it does not see the printer as being plugged in, windows sees it in device manager but the lexmark software does not.
Thats not the only problem, now when i attempt to run the software it comes up with “you need to uninstall the previous versions of this software, click ok to do so” so i click ok and restart etc and when i come back to it, it says i need to uninstall it again. There is defo no lexmark software on my machine.

Go to Start>Run>Type in “services.msc” without the quotes. Find the service “printer spooler” and see if it’s started. If it isn’t try, starting it and it could work.
its already started but it still wont let me install, says the software is already installed and i need to uninstall it to continue
