Left 4 Dead Question

I know you seen a couple help threads of mine, but this time it’s urgent!
I downloaded the game Left 4 Dead (1 link), and everything is fine (I hope).
I followed the instructions successfully, but I ran into a problem along the way.
I’m having a little trouble, I extracted the game and ran setup.bat. Everything worked fine, but I downloaded the crack I don’t know how to install it? Also I tried running the game but it doesn’t load for me can anyone help?
By the sound of it you downloaded a rip…It should be already cracked…Look in the folder and see if there is a registry file…
Not sure why it isnt loading. To install the crack follow these steps.
OPen up My Computer and open your C: drive. In your C: Drive you should see program files.. click that. Next you should see a whole list of folders named after all yuour programs look for Left 4 Dead. Open the foler and copy and paste the crack into that folder. If it asks for you to overwrite something press yes.
Not too sure why it wont load. Maybe give us some more details.
Setup.bat only get used in ripped games…No crack needed..Registry entry maybe…
I didn’t get none of that, he said nothing was ripped.
I can’t install the game because when I try to load the game nothing loads?
