I already tried many things but none works. I installed L4D full version from an .iso and upgraded it with survival pack and patched it to 1.0.1.3 (or something)
I tried to use Garena for lan and online, but it didn’t work. I also couldn’t see the console, not at the start-up screen, not in game. I changed the button for the console in Programfiles/…/L4D/bin/config.cfg but that didn’t work either, the button changes back into what it was each time I start L4D.
Since Garena didn’t work for me, I started Steam. this time it comes closer, I can see the Lan games and I can join, but it stops loading at 99%. nothing happens after that. it’s Lan and Online. I can play singelplayer without any problem. anyone wants to help me? plz give it a try. I would be very gratefull for the console and even more if online and Lan are working thanx ahead
i don’t know about Garena, but if you want to play on LAN with your friends make sure everyone has the same version and try hamachi.
if you want to play on line try finding cracked servers or buy the game if you dont want to deal with the hassle.
