laptop brightness

March 15th, 2019

Hi everyone, I would love to ask you for a favor. I need a really good program/tool for changing brightness on my laptop. Because even when I dim my screen to lowest possible option in windows 7, it is not enough and it still hurts my eyes. are you using similar program like this ? I’ve found on google so many tools but I dont know which one is the best. and also Im curious if there is a risk when using tools like this. Could it possible broke/damage/ my screen ? thank you for your advices

I dont know of any software that will dim your brightness even more than the computer will let you, but you could try out a program called f.lux. It ‘heats’ up the colours in your computer so that it wont hurt your eyes as much

The videocard drivers usually also have a tool for changing color / brightness. I use that myself and it works fine, screen at 0% brightness, and still brightness turned down by videocard drivers by about 20%.
