Just bought some gaming accessories.
December 9th, 2013
But I don’t have the money to spend over 160 on the 3 items.
So here are the 3 I bought:
Mouse: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004M8ZY0W
Mechanical Keyboard: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003ZJ1VD8
Mousepad - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000UEZ36W
My question is, are these good? Or is there something better out there for cheaper?
If you’ve already bought them, then why does it matter?
They have not shipped i can cancel anything lol.
the keyboard alone will take a month.
My suggestion on the mouse would be to buy a Cyborg R.A.T 7

Trust me, ull get wayyy better specs and a much better mouse if u go with what i say.
I dont trust razer on the keyboard end either. i suggest u to see one of the logitech keyboards or one from cyborg (mentioned on the rat7 page on amazon) I bought a lycosa some time ago and i must say that im not at all happy. the touch panel on this razer keyboard goes like crazy and random keys stop working randomly at random times. Plus it doesnt feel like im using an expensive mechanical keyboard. it sucks tbh and i lost faith in razer after buying this board from them. My first mouse was copperhead and it too gave up within a period of 2yrs. very bad lifespan i must say….
Not willing to pay that much for a mouse (As i said I have a budget)
And the keyboard you showed me isn’t mech, I always wanted a mechanical keyboard for quite some time now, and don’t plan on buying another one anytime soon so non-mech = no sale for me.
Edit: I was looking into a G300 mouse (logitech) but as I looked more into it I found out it was much smaller then I wanted, for “claw” usage, no side buttons, and too lightweight for my taste.
So this is the closest to what I’m looking for within my budget. Again though I cant search the entire internet which is why I’m posting here, but your advice doesn’t help me, sadly.
Thanks for trying though ^_^
U could try a rat5 then. it doesnt have all the physical cuztomization options of the rat7 and rat9 but performance would still be better than a razer mouse imo. Try comparing it with a razer mouse of same price. well as for keyboards i didnt know it wasn’t mechanical. Sorry, my bad. Anyways whatever u buy never and i mean NEVER buy a razer lycosa. this keyboard sucks.
RAT series are trash. They use the Phillips Twin Eye sensor not to mention horrid shape, weight and center of gravity.
The stuff you’ve picked out are very good but for $10, get this mousepad instead. It’s better than the Qck in every way while being similar to the Qck feel.

What’s your grip style and sensitivity (in inches/360)?
Edit: Missed this part
for "claw" usage, no side buttons, and too lightweight for my taste.
Then you’d be fine with the DA but you should use it lightly since Razer isn’t particularly known for their build quality. You wont find a better sensor though on any mouse (Avago S3888)

Seems to me you personally haven’t had an experience with a R.A.T mouse. It might look uncomfortable, but it’s the most comfortable mouse i’ve used to date and it’s fast and dang precise. And hey, it doesn’t look horrible, IMO it’s pretty cool

I don’t need to own one to know the technical details. I’d take 1:1 movement of the crosshair with my hands over customization any day and I’d expect any self righteous gamer to agree with me.-paroxysM^ replied: not to mention horrid shape, weight and center of gravity.
