Jdownloader + Youtube

I have used jdownloader for awhile now for youtube vids and never a problem.
Until the last week or so.
While i’m downloading from youtube they are stopping now and again and i have to keep resuming them.
They also seem to stop just before finishing.
So i’m not sure if that’s the reason i’m having a time in playing the files.
I’m downloading the mp4 file as i watch them from my flash drive.
But just this week when i play the file is slowly goes out of sync.
I rewind it and play it again and its ok until it goes out of sync again.
So i don’t think it’s out of sync but a playback problem.
Picture is also distorted at the bottom.
So i’m thinking either from all the stop start with the download or somehow jdownloader is corrupting the files.
Anyone have similar problems with youtube.
It also seems they have changed channel formats so again not sure if that could be a reason.
It’s updated to latest plugins.
So if no one has problems could someone please recommend something else for youtube as i need hundreds of parts downloaded.
One important thing though is program has to be a portable version.

thank you for the reply.
i tried using downloadhelper (as i did have portable FF).
but unfortunately since it downloads through the browser i am only getting 30kbs speeds.
i tried putting link in to IDM but had problems with it.
so i had to edit the link all the time to get it to work.
so not an option for me as took too long.
i actually need 1000’s of parts to download.

I thought about using IDM but the version i’m using now has 2 files missing to make integration possible.
So i’m not sure if it will work like it should normally.
When i clicked on advanced integration it said something about admin rights which of course i don’t have.
What i downloaded today from youtube played back fine so i’m sure that jdownloader is corrupting them somehow.
But the hoops i had to jump through to get what i did was too time consuming for amount i need.
Would’ve been fine if it was a one off.
I might see how the other option goes, as i always like trying other options, otherwise i’ll look for another portable IDM that hopefully works properly with youtube.

But as happened before with downloadhelper i need for whatever i use to be able to put links into a download manager as i won’t be able to download at the speed of my net.
IDM is good, but you need to crack (or patch) it, in order to be activated.

But shouldn’t the portable versions already be cracked?
By cracked you mean registered right?
The portable version i’m using now doesn’t seem to of been made properly as it’s the first time it’s said files missing.
The only other way I can think of is youtube-dl. I’ve been using it on Linux machines only but there’s a Windows version of the script out there. With proper settings you should be able to download videos from the command prompt or write a shell script listing all the videos you want to save.
U can paste link in rapidleech server (look in link heaven) and server will download video for you.

so i guess i need somehow to get a link to put in to IDM.
i copied link from videoget but it doesn’t work in IDM

If u still cant do it rapidleech servers have auto transload option where u can post your list of links and server will download all of them for you.

I wondered what auto transload was, as i once clicked on it but nothing happened.
Even though i need thousands of links, it’s not like i need them all at once.
So might give it a try.
Oh and i know about rapidleechers unfortunately as without them i can’t download anything.
