Is this a good IT tool for copying from one hard drive to a next? Recommendations from amazon and eBay will be helpful, thanks.

Answer #1
I have 2 of these, different brands but only because they were marked down at a closing sale for $5 each. Work well, also dbl up as an external drive for every day use. Sure you can’t find them cheaper?
Answer #2
E bay have it for around the same price, i usually buy stuff from amazon and eBay. Maybe because of the brand name it’s that price? Know of any other good ones with a different brand?
Answer #3
The ones I have are a generic brand BAUHN. I did see this on a quick search, $22

The one for $22 has a cloning feature. Do you think the startech one have that feature to?
Answer #5
I couldn’t really say mate, I would guess it probably has and that it would possibly be a software option. personally I would see if you can find these at the Makers websites and compare. But as far as I know they all do the same thing. As long as your HDD’s fit in them.
Answer #6
Is this for work or home use ? If its for work don’t even think about using the copy functionality of one of these devices. Plug the drives in and use something like Paragon Hard Disk Manager to do a disk clone.
At least you will know for sure then that the copy was successful.
Answer #7
It’s for more home use. Might try the $22 one with the cloning feature. Thanks for the advice everyone.
