is there such application?

i was wondering if there is such an application, software or program here that could zoom in into a picture and then correct its pixelation? like in the movies…

Adobe Fireworks, magnify image and edit individual (or multiple) pixels.

Not everything you see on TV/Movies is possible in real life, A lot of it is purely fictional!
Anyways, I’m not entirely sure what your asking as it can mean two things, So let’s see:
1. If you got a small, clear picture, But you wanna increase it’s size and still maintain the details, Then this app would do an excellent job:

2. If you wanna zoom-in on an object that was captured from a great distance and extract useful information
out of it – Then that’s simply not gonna happen! You gotta have the details first in order to enhance em, And from a distance – You simply don’t have enough of em! Same goes if it’s extremely pixelated.
