I don’t know but sometimes i hear static when i press on my gas(accelerator)
Well the manual doesn’t state whether a certain sensor of the iphone or anything similar is being used so I guess the problem could be the configuration of the auto transmitter. I did discover this
Adjust the volume of your FM radio to the desired listening level.*
*Due to characteristics of FM transmission, you will experience better sound quality by adjusting the volume on your car
stereo when necessary, and by leaving your iPod volume at a medium level.
to begin with and if the problem persists, these
Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that which
the receiver is connected.
Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
Could be solutions too.
Btw which car is it? Could be important.

Could be important.Yes i leave in my cup holder and its perfect but when someone sits with me they want to put stuff in cup holder so i have to put my iphone near the cigarette lighter and thats when static happens sometimes but when i put in the cup holder it is perfect but if i put anywhere else i get static sometimes and also its a toyota camry 2001 LE going to switch over to Honda CRX when i get more money using my moms car atm since i am just 17…
You can get ignition or even alternator noise induced into the transmitter or the iphone itself.
So moving things around is really the only practical way to avoid it.
