I have a Quad core processor… and a 250W PS.. I know I will have to buy a 400W ps
But is the GFX card compatible or not?

I see it’s not a problem even if my MB doesn’t support PCI 3

It will, but you have to make sure whether your power supply has enough wattage (probably around 400w would do) and that you have 6-pin connectors.

Yes you will defiantly need a PSU upgrade maybe check out a 550W or 650W future proof for the same price tbh.
6-pin connector is where the GFX card will have a separate power cable going to the PSU for more power some may need a 6pin or 8pin or a combo check the specs before ordering.
Don’t cheap out on the PSU ether

So 6-pin is something I’ve to consider when I buy the PSU… right?

Decent PSU’s have at least 2 6/8 pin PCI-E connectors.
Even better ones have 4.
