Gigabyte UD7 Vs. UD9

Im building a new computer and was wanting to know whats the major difference between the two and is it worth spending the extra money the UD9

Unless you’re going to use DICE or LN2 to try and break world records the UD7 has everything you need. Even the UD5 is more than enough. The only other use for the UD9 is doing 4-way SLI. Not to mention the UD9 is not compatible with every case as it’s XL-ATX but it comes with a free waterblock (although a sucky one). You’re not going to get better overclocks using the UD7 or UD9 over a UD5 on air or water. The main thing about overclocking is that it depends on the chip. Boards can do little to help an already weak chip. 2-way and 3-way SLI will perform the same on all 3 boards. The UD7 does have a bit better board layout though than the UD5 from what I see.
If I were you I would get this. It performs the same as the UD7 and it has better onboard audio.
