Ipod touch problem

Ipod touch no longer turns on.
was working fine one day then i charged in on holiday using a iphone charger and it never came back on.
what is the problem? thanks

Did you happen to read the link I gave you?
Someone stated that this works:
OK, I think I found a solution....hold the home and power button...it worked for me. Try it.
Although I don’t think that is a normal issue , that’s why I advised to contact Apple.
