iPod issues-

August 5th, 2016

Hey, I recently had to restart my whole computer system, unfortunately, and I really don’t know how to get all my tunes from my iPod touch to my computer, as when I click on sync, it’s going to wipe all my music, and stick on them 3 ~ Lovely ~ songs, is there anyway I’m able to stick the music on a USB or whatsoever to transfer it over or what? thanks a lot.

If you go to My Computer and look for your iPod drive.
Right click > explore. Enable hidden folders in folder options (start > control panel > folder options > view > show hidden files and photos).
One of the transparent folders should contain a bunch of folders like f01 f02 and should have all your music inside. The names will be weird but the ID3 tags should sort this. Just copy them all to a folder on your PC.
There may be a better way to do it through iTunes but I don’t use that software, sorry.
edit: sorry for half post, my rabbit jumped on the keyboard and it pressed the submit button

Thanks for that, I went to My Computer, and I couldn’t find my iPod drive, it only came up under ‘Scanners & Cameras’ called Apple iPod and there’s nothing in there, except for the 3 photos I have, here’s 2 photo’s of it:

It may be one of the removal drives. It’s usually the name of your iPod. If you unplug your iPod, wait for the system ding (to tell you a device has been removed) and check which ones vanish from My Computer, then plug it in and browse the ones that reappear
Answer #4
Yeah, it seems to be that iPod Touch one, in Scanners & Cameras, but there’s only them photo’s, on iTunes, it’s got the right amount of gb, it knows what’s on my iPod etc, but still I can’t seem to find it
Answer #5

Sorry for double post, it says ‘No iPod plugged, please plugin your iPod’ which is connected with my cable from my iPod Touch to my Computer? :\
Answer #8
Right click My Computer > Manage > Device manager in the left panel of the window that pops up. See if there are any errors for the device there.
