Iphone Digitizer or LCD? What do i need to fix it? Help!

January 26th, 2020

Hey everyone. A couple of months ago i was sitting with my friends on a bench in the park. I dropped the iphone on the ground and it hit the grass. There were no rocks or anything so i thought i was fine. I turned it on and the screen was not damaged. It simply did not respond to touch. There are no blank pixels or anything. I’ve seen on amazon and ebay that there is the LCD replacement kit for $30-40 US dollars. I don’t know what to buy to fix my iphone. The warranty is over. I also want to buy the back case. The iphone is the Iphone 3g. What parts do i need to fix it? I know how to take it apart and how to replace parts, i just don’t know what parts to buy. I’ve also tried the reset which you hold the home button and the lock button thing. It still doesn’t work. Please help!
Thanks in advance, .

Well screen and digitizer go together…
You can do that by yourself…

will buying the front panel kit from Ifixit fix my problem? i dont think i need to buy the screen (69.99$) because that has no pixels missing. The digitizer is the one in charge of the touch and respond correct?
