Iphone 4 contact recovery

i just upgraded my uncle’s iphone 4 to 4.3,
since my computer already had my iphone’s information, all transfered to his phone including contact numbers and email ids , etc …
could you plz name an application or tell me how without application i can get the his old system back.
before upgrade, it did ask me if i want to get a back up, and my response was ok, but when i check the backup forlder the last modified things are from yesterday, and nothing new
plz help me to get his data back, or at least his contact numbers and messages

If you made BACKUP of his iPhone before restore/upgrade then just restore that backup, if NOT, then, you are SOL.

then before the upgrade, i did ask me if i want to get a back up, and i did
the problem is i can’t find it, all the updates were from the day before.
today i found lots of related problem on the net i guess as they say it’s a bug and how did i know that B4 upgrading
now what happend is happend, please advice me of a software like those recovery apps to get the data back if it is possible?!?!?
