So, can anybody write a tested guide that can downgrade my iPhone 3g to 3.1.3 and unlock it? I’ve tried with multiple versions of redsn0w but they don’t accept the .ipsw file. So I’m stuck with 4.2.1 once again, and I want iOS 3.1.3

Why would you downgrade to 3.1.3?
You can unlock it with ultrasn0w on Cydia…
