Installing Sims 3 Expansions on Sims 3 Base Game?

The internet says ‘No’ but there must be a way. Surely someones come up with something? Anyone?

If you’re using the legit game and want to use a version of an expansion of it, i’m doubtful that this would work – not a 100% certain of this though
If you’re using versions of everything then you shouldn’t have a problem

Oh, I didn’t make myself clear at all. Sorry, I posted this rather late.
I have the Steam base game.

Is it a cracked version of the game or STEAM bought
If its steam bought and U bought the pack from steam U will have no problem.
They auto install .
If its a craked steam versiom Use NEXUS manger to install expansions
it should work OK.
(tho I dont play it,I`m sure it works as it does with other games).
