Installing drivers

Hey,
i think my stupid comp shop forgot to give me the geforce box the one with the cd, they also forgot to install it.
so now i need to install(comp can’t read the video card,\;
in the device manager it says Video Controller Vga compatible i think this is built in..)
Do i have to download the drivers from
www.nvidia.com or do i have to return to the comp shop again?

yes you can download from Nvidia site latest version Driver.

Download Speccy and run it, it will show what components you have, or CPU-Z and GPU-Z. Then go to manufacturer website and download drivers that you need. Easy as that!

so you mean that downloading the driver from nvidia website is same as having the cd that comes with the video card box?

yes same and you get always Update driver from nvidia site.

i didnt really mean that but i thought that those two were different(im stupid) thanks ! downloading the driver currently.

Well you can check every month, dunno if there is an automatic update (maybe there is) anyway… First check your drivers then download.
