Answer #1
did you install a fan or a new cooler with a fan or buy a whole new case? what one is it?
Answer #2
Did you connect the fan power cable?

Answer #3
Sometimes there’s a switch on the fan to turn it on. Check for one.
Answer #4
connect the power wire from the fan to the MB, may hava a small white connector, goes to the 4 prong connect labled fan on the mB, if no connecting posts, you can get a small to reg power supply adapter and connect to the PS larger same as the dvd,cd hd, onless their sata, if power is onnected, and still won’t work, fan may be defective, even if new. but power does have to be hooked up. i do realize you may know that, just checking

I once had a build where it required me to plug a power line from my PSU into a socket onto the motherboard before I was able to use a fan connector near the bottom of the board (nothing to do with my GPU either), that was a very annoying board indeed lol and tbh iv only ever seen one like it. Just thought id bring it up so all bases are covered

Um. I live in a hot climate and my PC’s tend to overheat very quickly in our summer months and shut down. I use a small personal fan which I put on top of the vents of the case of the flat PC, which has my Monitor on it. For upright PC’s I take the side access panel off and I mount the fan in the whole thus created, in the case of the PC. Because the fan is connected to the mains power supply, there is no draw on the power of the PC, which is strong enough to power my PC and all of its internals, but not really to also lose power to a fan as well.
If your fan is an internal fan, then there should be wires from the rear of the fan which you can plug into wires inside the PC, for that purpose and if so, then everything in a PC is plug and play, so you should have no problems finding what wires fit into where. If the wire ends don’t fit, that’s because you got the wrong wire connections.

That is worth checking to see if there are any settings for it in your BIOS, I have had a couple in the past like that.
Failing that, it is probably DOA. Can you try it in a different PC ?
