I have trouble loading html5 gifs when I goto a page with 6 of more my computer sound like the fan is running 200mph anybody else have this problem trying to load these gifs?? I run forum and I post on a lot of html5 gifs they really slow down my computer using a lot of resources. I post some of these gifs on GFYcat the site redesign sucks it is more buggy than before it crashes my computer a lot. I like htm5 gifs they are just like 5 times more resource heavy than regular gifs and that is why they will never really catch on.

It sounds like you may have a more of a heat issue than anything else or it’s time for some hardware upgrades. When is the last time you blew the dust out of your computer? Even if you have OCD and a spotless house, those fans inside your computer will suck in a lot of dust over time. Might be time to shut it down, unplug it, remove the side cover and have a look. But, whatever you do please do not use a vacuum cleaner to suck out the dust. Doing so can cause more issues if you are not extremely careful. Use an air compressor or get some of those compressed air cans they sell in stores specifically for cleaning out electronics.

I cleaned the dust 3 to 4 months ago

That’s plenty of time for dust to build up depending on environment variables or it might be time for some new thermal paste.
If a fan is kicking up that much then something is overheating it. It could be your CPU fan or if you have a fan on a dedicated GPU. I would definitely monitor temps to see what is overheating with something like AIDA64 or CPUID’s HW Monitor.
Html5 is awesome with all it can do and I don’t find it to be resource heavy at all. The html5 and gifs on those sites you visit are just an indirect result of your computer overheating. Need to find the direct result which is either dust, thermal paste breakdown or old hardware that needs updated.
It is also quite possible you have something else causing heavy resource usage then it just can’t keep up when you visit those sites. So along with monitoring temps, might want to watch your resource usage before, during and after it overheats just to have a better understanding of what all is going on.

Also, from what you are describing, look into video driver panel settings.
Something may be tasking the video card processor and causing a heat issue inside the case.
I had a similar problem with temps when I adjusted the video image settings (for edge enhancement) and set it to use Nvidia for the player. I began to see a rise in temps at odd intervals even without playing videos.
I am not sure about the loading of html5 gifs as being a problem. Except the rendering of several detailed images on the screen at the same time.
And there are several available video driver installer packages that vary in performance levels to work with different hardware/OS platform.
