HTML help with coding links for forums
September 7th, 2013
Do you mean, instead of writing
” [ code ] ” (without spaces obviously)
You want to write this:
” < code > ”
And still have the same effect?
As standard, I don’t think so, BBCode is a separate language as such – it’s still associated with HTML… but only in special cases – such as in Bulletin Boards (that’s what BB stands for).
I suppose you might be able to implement HTML by using plugins or something, but that’s all.
Wordpress for instance is mainly HTML & PHP… standalone BBCode wont work… but you can get a plugin that enables BBCode.
I personally don’t have any experience with managing a forum of any kind, so I can’t really help you that much, but I hope the explanation above gives you an idea of what to look for.
I hope it answers your question? If not, then reply and try to be more specific
No. BBCOde is just another markup language. Each BBCode tag referrers to an html tag.
PS: You can Google stuff like this and fine tons of information…
