Hp Mini 2140 Notebook pc

Hi, i have the notebook hp 2140 with OS Windows XP. I was wondering if i could raplace it (OS) with Linux or Mac. I dont know if they are fully supported by the hardware and if it has any big deference as it consernce the perfomance. I didnt managed to find something that could help completly on google so if any can give me specific answers it is really apreciated . Ty

Below site might be useful for linux? I doubt you’ll be able to run Mac OS baremetal without paying the Apple tax
