How to watch 3D movies at home ?

August 6th, 2016

Is there any way to see “3-D Movies” like- “AVATAAR, Final destination-4” in “home theater” in our home.
I heard about “3D DVD” what is this & is it possible to watch movies in home by using “3-D glasses” same as theatre.
Please provide some info about it. Also please provide some older “3-D movies” link (if available).

The title has been fixed.

A quick Google search found this. I thought I’d show the porn article as this is the level at which attracts most interest.
The first 3D TV sets are not set to hit stores until midyear but the porn industry is already shooting and selling immersive 3D films.
Adult movie makers are known for being technology pioneers, having helped drive the adoption of previous new technologies such as VHS, DVD, Blu-ray, the internet and high-definition.
BadGirls in 3D, an exhibitor at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas, is so early with its adoption of 3D that it is selling a $US3999 ($4320) kit that includes a Mitsubishi 60-inch 3DTV, two pairs of 3D glasses and a tiny PC that is used to stream the 3D films from the web.

Several hours of porn are shot using 3D cameras and uploaded to the site every week. It can be accessed for $US19.95 a month.

did you just buy a 3d tv? the new tvs convert movies into 3d.
if not follow this guide.
# Watch 3D movies in high-def: If you can, buy the Blu-ray version of 3D movies and watch on an HDTV. The color and resolution look significantly better. However, if you watch a regular 3D DVD on a large HDTV, the quality will be greatly diminished due to the poor resolution of the DVD format.
# Increase the brightness setting on your TV: Due to the red/blue lenses in 3D glasses, a properly configured TV image will appear too dark. Increasing the brightness will compensate for the muted color...slightly.
# Watch 3D movies in the dark: Less ambient light in the room reduces the double-vision or halo effects and increases the perceived brightness.
# Sit a little closer to the TV and directly in front of the TV: Obviously, the stereoscopic images will come across better if you look at the TV head-on. Sitting a little closer also seems to improve the 3D effects.

anyways.
3d tvs.

The only easy/cheap way to watch 3D at home is to use coloured specs such as colorcode3D ones which I have a few pairs here. It’s not very good and makes my eyes hurt. The better way for 3D is the polarising specs but that can only be used in a Cinema/Theatre, it works very well and can be watched without specs and looks normal, only 3D with specs though.
Otherwise it’s a more expensive system and requires special specs.
