How to watch 3d MOVIE?

Hey guys. I downloaded this movie but I see on both sides on teh screen the same thing. how do I see it as a 3d movie?

You have a 3D TV and glasses or how you plan watching them ?
If you don’t have a 3D TV, then the analgraph method with red/cyan glasses can be used.

I actually do have an LG 3D TV with a USB on the side that I usually use to play movies from…… How can I do that?
BTW, I dont have them RED and BLUE glasses, I have the new type of glasses that both sides look dark black to me.

Play the movie, press the 3D button on your remote and use the directional button around your OK button to choose the correct 3D format and click OK That’s what I do on mine, should imagine your TV will be the same.

Any update on this? The quoted thread seems to be a few years old..
So if I have a 3D TV connected through HDMI with ordinary cable to PC, do I need to do anything special? Or simply play full-hd-side-by-side movie and choose the correct 3D mode? (I downloaded a movie where there are 2 images next to each other, looks kind of strange in VLC. That one could be played as is through VLC on a 3D TV?)
(Don’t konw whether that is an obvious questions.. don’t have 3D TV yet, gonna buy it at some point..)

Yes you’ve got it right .
That’s what I do… just play it using VLC (side by side), and then hit the 3D button my remote.
Pop on the 3D glasses, and enjoy.

I don’t know if all TVs are as good, but it works OK like that on my friend’s Samsung.

Ahmmm Its posible that if I buy 3D glasses ( cheap ) with a normal LCD monitor screen .. + 3D movie.. it works??
or a 3D game with 3D glasses with a normal LCD monitor screen???
