Are you saying that you tried to message them and when you went to send it, it said something like they have friend lock on. So it blocked you from sending? Because you don’t need to be on their contact list, unless they have it set as above that only those on contact can message them. If that’s the case then you’re out of luck, apart from trying to leave a comment on their channel to add you as you’d like to speak to them.

Yes, looks like your out of luck on that one.
By looking at the users videos, they all seem to be about religion. So I imagine that they probably got a lot of mail… Good mail, and probably bad mail. So therefore the best option for them were to enable this feature.
You’ll have to try and find another way to contact them.
