How to run ISOs on a 5.50GEN-D3 Custom Firmware? PSP

January 17th, 2018

I’ve installed 5.50GEN-D3 Custom Firmware onto my PSP using ChickHEN but now I don’t know how to run ISOs.
I’ve downloaded Hatune Miku Diva 2nd and LocoRoco Midnight Carnival and copied them into the ISO folder of my PSP.
They appear on my PSP just fine, but when I try to play it, it just shows the PSP icon and then completely blackness. I have to hold the power button for a few seconds in-order for my PSP to turn off. I’ve tried using ISO Tool 1.61 and 5.50 Prometheus but it still doesn’t work. Could someone tell me what I’m doing wrong?
Did I hack my PSP wrong or are the games I’m trying to play not supported??

look at the vsh menu and make sure ur using m33 driver.. not NORMAL.. or something like that… hope this helps
i think you can get to the vsh menu by pressing select… try if that works..

The ISO and CSO show up fine, they don’t play.
I’ve already tried doing M33 and Sony… what ever it is, and even in normal mode, but still nothing works :'( Is it because these games are too new?

Ok thanks I’ll try and find diffrent sources. Edit: It wasn’t the exact game I wanted, but I downloaded a older version released in 2009 and it worked! yay!
So it probably was the ISO i downloaded.
Do you guys have any recommended sites?
