Does PS3 3.60 Custom Firmware exist? (3.60-cfw)

Also there is hudreds of videos on YT showing you proof of the jailbreak working but te downloads they all seem to ofer all seem like survey scams. does anyone know if a general release of 3.60-cfw is actually released?

I’ve been wondering the same thing for a couple of days now. So far from everything I’ve read, 3.60 isn’t out but supposedly people are working on it. All those youtube videos are BS
There might be a delay/may never come out because of Sony’s actions against everything that is PS3 jailbreak. Geohot settled his lawsuit with them in court today and as a part of the settlement he got served a permanent injunction – so forget about a Geohot release.
I’m impatient and want a jailbroken ps3 soooo bad so I think I may buy a used one that’s still on 3.55

I’m pretty sure there was a Russian or a French guy doing something, it’s likely he dropped it by now though.
No there is no 3.60 cfw, and you can be sure that GeoHot won’t go anywhere near a Playstation for the next months/years, let alone hack it.
do you guys think its worth it to go out and buy a 3.55 ps3? If there will be no 3.60 jailbreak, all the new games that are coming out will never be playable correct?
Yup, all games that need 3.6 or higher probably won’t be playable unless somebody brings out a 3.55 cfw with 3.6 spoof.

When you download a game usually people have uploaded an “eboot.bin” which replaces the original. So you can play it on 3.55 cfw

3.60 CFW may come to light but it really makes no diff right now. A new CFW will come out when games that use code only present in the new firmware are released. As far as Im aware 3.60 doesnt bring anything new.
So games currently “requiring” 3.60 can be patched to run on 3.55 as its the same environment for the games.
Edit: Also note games still running on 3.41 with a patch…

This is disheartening information.. I say this b/c I have doubts that the 3.60 cfw will ever come out! Seeing that Sony is taking aggressive legal actions against jailbreaking (geohot case), who is going to man up and take the risk of releasing a new firmware. If a new firmware isn’t released I won’t be able to DL future games which is why I’m considering buying a 3.55 ps3. Now I don’t really know if it’s even worth it
Actually the answer is YES IT DOES INFACT because recently 3.60 sdk files were leaked and keys found however you CAN NOT RUN ~censored~ ALL ON IT so its WORTHLESS
BEST BET?
A: find a 3.55 ps3 that you can do KMEAW on
B: Downgrade a 3.70 ps3 using one of the three known methods so far
A:progskeet,
B: teensimod or
C: (the best option its solder less for slims)
3.70 ps3 downgrades are out but youll wanna use E3 for its dual boot feature its the only TRUE FLASHER FOR PS3 that has bosted dual booting OFW and CFW on the same hdd and mac side by side with no problems
my is 3.55 and i need 3.60 for ufc fighter, what i need to do ?
if there is no eboot fix, then nothing you can do.
go the psx scene and it looks like 3.73 will be hacked cos math has dumped it but won’t release it , i think it will be hacked before christmas
we saw this with 3.6 i believe. i doubt anything will come from it.
so whay they crack games when you cant play them ? 3.60?
