How to remove Write Protection from Sandisk 8gb cruzer edge?

anyone knows how to Write Protection from a pen drive? i can copy the files from a sandisk 8gb cruzer edge, but i cant copy anything into that pen drive.

I think the files you are trying to write on your Pen Drive is Hidden ! Remove hidden settings from your Computer any try again …….

Your flash drive has gone bad, Have it replaced if still under warranty or buy a new one.

there is absolutely no other way to resolve it? its not mine, its my friends. so i have to be sure to tell him what to do.

None!
It doesn’t have a write protection switch (very few FDs do)
It just doesn’t let you write to it because it’s gone bad, As I already noted, I encountered the same problem before and replacing it was the only solution that worked.

so if the usb drive is within warranty then the best choice is use that warranty and get it replaced? thanks for all the help

Try re formatting the usb disk, just make sure you save the files on the usb.

Next time just remove the partition and make a new one.
