How to protect application and files?

Is there any program for protecting apps?
I want to protect firefox from other people that use my PC.
And, of course, can someone recommend me good app for pass protecting files and folders?

Folder lock. I don’t know of any applications that can protect other Appz though. Please emphasize what you mean by “protect”, what do you want to prevent the other users from doing?

im sure you have a reason but ill say it anyway..
isnt this a good time to create separate accounts for your computer? – would save you a lot of hastle.

It’s a complicate thing… i am aware that 2 accounts solves that problem, but I can’t do it right now…
Actually, i want to “lock” firefox so nobody can use it (by me, of course)

Um, having read another thread about locking apps i had this thought:
If restricting access to your programs was that important, try folder lock as suggested, and once you set it up, put the exe for.. say firefox.. in the folder and hide/lock it.
i havent tried this, but wont it be the case that the link on start menu/desktop wont be able to find it? therefore wont launch untill you unlock it?
