I downloaded Need for speed underground and it's a .CSO File how do i play it on my psp ? where do i have to place it or what do i have to do ?
first off you need to delete the sony operating system on your psp and install a custom firmware, if your psp is a psp 3000 then it cannot play back ups, also if you have a psp 2000 made within the last 6 months it can only play ps1 backups not psp games, if you have a psp 1000 or psp 2000 made 6 months ago then you can delete the sony operating system on your psp and install a new one called M33 which allows you to run downloaded psp games.
so to recap, delete the operating system on their psp and install a hacked one, it allows psp games to be loaded off memory stick, if you psp does not have the hacked operating system installed it cant do it.

if you have m33 installed on your psp, then go to settings and format your psp memory stick, it will it make a folder called ISO, as well as a folder called PSP, place psp iso/cso in the iso folder, and place ps1 games in the PSP/Game folder.

if you are asking how to tell if you have a 1000,2000 or 3000, its on the bottom on the sticker next to where you plug in your charger, for example… one sec ill grab the psp off my nightstand, k it says A1037138349-PSP2001 which means i have a PSP 2000, if you are asking how do you know if you have a hacked psp its pretty obvious, but anyways turn your psp on, go to settings, scroll down and click on system settings,then scroll down and click on system information.
for example mine says System Sofware: 5.00 M33-4, if it does not say M33 at the end its means you have the sony operating system on it which of course cant play backups, if its just numbers it means you need to delete the sony operating system and install a hacked one, do what i just said and reply back what system software you are running this is also called firmware version if you are confused, when people say custom firmware they mean a custom system software.

If you don’t know that means…You have normal firmware…If you ever hacked your PSP with custom firmware…That’s something you don’t forget as it’s not simple to do…And if you don’t then you can’t play downloaded games until you do…

there is a chip on psp batteries that let you hack it, but you need to edit the info on this battery, but since i dont think think you have a friend with a hacked psp (if you psp is hacked you can hack the battery with a program) but since yours is not hacked you will need to have a friend with a already hacked psp hack it for you.
then again, finding someone to hack your battery can be hard, they sell the battery to hack psps real cheap only $6.33 plus 1 cent shipping tracking so $6.34 all together way cheaper then buying a real psp game.

anyways directions on how to use, download the m33 installer run it and it will copy the files to your memory stick.
