How to open .img file?

January 26th, 2020

No this isn’t a noobish question Or mayb it is…
Anyways I did a “tweak” for firefox:
http://knowlege-info.blogspot.com/2010/10/superspeed-firefox-by-putting-profile.html
It worked good and all, the thing is that your profile is stored as an image file(.img). After I had to hard reset my pc the img somewhat became corrupted, so now I can’t access the .img file(open it).
I have tried magic iso, I have tried to burn it, I tried to rename it to .rar/.zip but that would help.
Mayb someone else has an idea.

Neither that or UltraIso worked:S
Keep saying unknown file or damaged.
Answer #7
“.img” file can be accessed by any CD/DVD (disc) burning software. Eg. Nero, UltraISO, PowerISO, etc..
If you see “file damaged”, then this might be due to improper extracting / downloading.
A quick trick if you are using WinRAR:
Right click on file > Extract files… > keep broken files (put a check mark on it) > OK (click on it)
hope WinRAR tick works for you..

Burning didn’t work saying that it’s not a valid disc image.
Don’t have the extraction option @ winrar, well @ the img file.
