Any time you recode a video, you lose some quality. At 90M you have lost absolutely everything that would be HD!
HD – some people think that as long as the video dimensions are 720p (1280×720), it is HD – NOT
They have reduced the bitrate to such low levels that the quality is seriously impaired. They will also reduce the quality of the audio to probably MP3 (vs AAD/5.1/DTS) at a very low bit rate as well.
You can reduce the size of a video using less extreme settings using almost any video converter now. The settings and how small you can make the file to still be watchable depends on the video itself. Fast action movies for example, suffer more than dramas when reducing unless you get the settings tweaked.

And pseudo-3d animations like the one you posted suffer the less; that’s why you can do it and still come up with a decent result. If you notice the intro to the videos you posted it’s horrible while the rest, although it suffers from the same problem (low bitrate) it’s tolerable due to the fact that it”s basically 2D (not much depth – if you watch closely any deep scenery parts you can notice how bad it is again) and good filtering.

There are techniques to maintain quality in smaller file sizes
Unfortunately, 90mb 720p files are meaningless, most of the pixels in the video file will not be unique, simply because the bitrate will be too low
You can, of course, use Handbrake to reduce the file size, while sacrificing A BIT of quality, but there is no such thing as simply lowering the file size and maintaining the quality.
