How to make Unattended Win7 with program list

January 24th, 2020

I once downloaded a custom install of WinXP that ran unattended and also had a list of which programs to install. Id like to create my own for Win7. Seems I need vlite, but reading up on that it seems thats only for the install of the OS. Is there another program or something to make it so I can get a list of programs to install unattended too?
Answer #1
have you looked at rt7lite ?? it will install unattended applications
Answer #2
Don’t modify the image unless you want to enable .net3 or some other windows feature out of the box.
Install it in a VM like HyperV without creating a bitlocker partition
When you get to the first screen in the install
shift + f10
diskpart
select disk 0
create partition primary
active then continue with the installation normally
Snapshot here Install and configure your programs
Snapshot here
Run C:\Windows\System32\Sysprep\sysprep.exe check generalize and change the reboot dropdown box to shutdown.
From here all you need to do on your client computers is use any old disk imaging software to create an active primary partition and dump the virtual machines vhd contents onto it and reboot.
The advantage with this instead of a logon script or scheduled task is that you don’t have to install the software on each client computer its already installed.
