How to Identify HDD if it has a problem!

Hi I want to buy 3pcs of 2nd hand HDD with no hidden defects, what is the best software will I use to Identify the HDD if it have a hidden defects,bad sector.

Hard Disk Sentinel is much better than HDTune.
I find HDTune (Pro) to be buggy and doesn’t support certain setups such as RAID, and can give misleading info.

I Agree. Though to bad Hard Disk Sentinel Uploads all ave a trojan which trys to get the picture keyboard process under your system. So this clean Version of HD Tune is a better solution for simple stats read.

I tried 2 posts in the Apps section and I get a virus warning from my antivirus.
It could be a false positive…but then…it could also be otherwise
Does anyone know a clean versions?

HDD sentinel is good though I’ve learned to not trust any software on this.

I got a reply from Virscan, they are pretty sure it s an screen capture/keyboard tool. high rated too. Still looking myself for a precracked or clean package.
