Help me identify my CPU

February 3rd, 2020

Okay guys, this may sound stupid but it’s a bit more than that lol. Today I bought a new laptop and they said the CPU was :
Intel Celeron quad core processor N2920 but when I right click my computer (Using win 8.1) it only says: Intel Celeron CPU N2920 @ 1.86GHz 1.86GHz
Any ideas?

I already checked that , thank you.
But not reading ‘Quad-Core’ anywhere, made be doubt it lol.
What’s your opinion on the CPU? Is it good for internet/youtube/online games/ and watching movies/streamings? It’s for my parents, that’s why I’m asking..
Answer #3
Seeing as you are not doing a lot of serious number crunching, it should be fine..
Answer #4
Relook at his link again.
Scroll down to the part that said. Number of core.
Yours said 4 so its quad core. Its pretty standard knowledge x.x For the future… When it said 2 core it mean its dual core cpu
You can also download CPUZ and look at the bottom right. It will show how many core you have.

it would be more than enough for what u have asked , u mean browser based games when u said online gaming , right ? i m using similar cpu with u also have no dedicated video card which means i use cpu as igpu also , i do everything you said above with 0 problems. actually intel igpu’s driver made colors more lively compared to 300$ card that i installed before , it is also interesting thing
Answer #6
Yeah sure, just some online web games, like poker, chess and stuff.
So far so good, I’m very satisfied!

Cores = 4.
“Quad” = 4..
So, “Quad core”.
Yes, It’ll be good for those uses – it’s not a bad CPU. A little limited for other uses – 3D rendering, big games, etc, but It’ll do those job above well, It’ll play most “non-2014” games well (I mean, the BIG 2014 games).. Online games = it depends on the game.. Diablo 3 might be hard unless you do medium settings, and so on.. balance the settings of the game out and it’ll do OK.
I’ve played some rather demanding games on an i3 – you just lower some of the settings a little.

If you want to see by your self, just to right click on the “computer” – hit properties – device menager and under processor click on + and you should see 4 processors with the same name speed etc.. there
Answer #9
get CPUZ.
